Donate to AMEREF

Your individual and corporate donations are used to provide AMEREF Resource Kits, worth over $400, to any requesting Alaskan educator. Your donations are also used to provide needed training on their use. AMEREF is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit and donations may be tax deductible (tax ID number 92-0117527).

Achieving our mission to provide Alaska's students with the knowledge to make informed decisions relating to Alaska's mineral, energy, and forest resources takes the support of many individuals and companies throughout Alaska. AMEREF could not exist without their support.

AMEREF also holds raffles, silent auctions, and the Annual Coal Classic Golf Tournament in June. Send us an email if you are interested in donating prizes, auction items, or participating in/sponsoring the annual golf tournament.

Donation Levels

The following donor levels have been established by AMEREF's Board of Directors. However, AMEREF will accept any donations, regardless of size.

  • $10,000+ Sponsorship of 25 AMEREF resource kits for Alaskan teachers and two teacher training sessions. Also includes sponsorship recognition at the Coal Classic Golf Tournament, including breakfast, lunch, beverage cart, and hole sponsorship.
  • $7,500 Sponsorship of 20 AMEREF resource kits and one teacher training session. Also includes sponsorship recognition at the Coal Classic Golf Tournament, including beverage cart and hole sponsorship.
  • $5,000 Sponsorship of 15 AMEREF resource kits and one teacher training session. Also includes sponsorship recognition at the Coal Classic Golf Tournament, including hole sponsorship.
  • $2,500 Sponsorship of six AMEREF resource kits and one teacher training session.
  • $1,000 Sponsorship of four AMEREF resource kits.
  • $500 Sponsorship of two AMEREF resource kits.
  • $250 Sponsorship of one AMEREF resource kit.
