The Alaska Mineral and Energy Resource Education Fund (AMEREF) is a partnership between the State of Alaska Department of Education and private industry.

AMEREF's mission is to provide Alaska's students with the knowledge to make informed decisions relating to mineral, energy, and forest resources.
